Dataset freshness
Queries answer from a planet snapshot that OpenStreetMap minute diffs advance continuously. Freshness reports how far behind upstream that snapshot is: Current within the hour, Catching up within the day, Behind beyond it. The same figures are on /api/status under engine.replication, as a state, a lag in seconds, the applied diff sequence, and the number of diffs still pending, so an agent can decide whether the data is current enough before relying on an answer.

Service notices describe affected endpoints, the impact on requests, and progress toward resolution.
